Our client is seeking a highly qualified 2nd or 3rd year associate to join their Intellectual Property group, which focuses primarily on life sciences and biotechnology. This role involves working with fast-growing clients in areas such as pharmaceutical small molecule products, biologicals, gene therapy therapeutics, and medical devices.Responsibilities:

• Patent drafting
• Prosecution
• Opinions
• Strategic agreements aimed at creating strategic IP assets that support corporate value and facilitate transactionsQualifications:
• USPTO admitted or eligible to sit for the exam
• BS or PhD in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, immunology, organic chemistry, or protein engineering
• A background in biotechnology or pharmaceutical companies is a plus
• Outstanding academic credentials
